Here's a late thanks to all the people that came out on the west regional tour we did in May. We had a great time playing and drinking your cities dry, hope you did too! Be sure to restock cuz we'll be back soon!

No Contest, no contests
Hey we've gotten a number of emails lately asking if we are involved in any contests to play SXSW, Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos, etc contests and how to vote for us. Well we are not. In the past we've halfheartedly participated in these contests and gotten blown away by bands with more friends, internet traffic, and/or time to spread the word about who to vote for. Not that we are any more deserving than any of them or we don't enjoy new fans, but frankly we're sick of the popularity contest. With all due respect, we'll be doin this whether or not you bastards are listening. It's been over half a decade now that SW's been around and we're not going anywhere, but if something's gonna happen it'll happen. At the moment we're concerning ourselves with playing some shows, writing material for the next record, and trying not to take anything too damn seriously.
Our advice? Go look at our "Top Friends" list and vote for one of those bands, if anyone's deserving, they are. Then call your local record store and ask them if they have the SIC WAITING record Your Name In Lights in stock. If so, great. If not, tell them they're fuckin' up and crank call them until they do get it! Then everyone's happy, or at least we are and that's all that matters. Ha.

Show me some action!
Hey people,
We've got a bunch of crap coming up! This weekend you can catch SIC WAITING at the House of Blues SD with Nitro Records' HIT THE SWITCH on Friday and at the Blvd in San Marcos on Saturday. Both are ALL AGES!! (but of course there's still booze... c'mon, who do you think we are?)
Next weekend is Orange County with Nitro's MUCH THE SAME and ASR acoustic show at the ANARCHY EYEWEAR booth!
Hope to see everyone out and about in the F-ing cold and if you live too far away, never fear- technology is here! We'll be posting video of an upcoming acoustic performance and some live clips in the next couple of weeks so look for it!

Shows, Shows, Phlegm, and shows
Ladies and Gentlemen (cough cough spit spit),
If you haven't seen yet, we've added a few more shows as the year begins to wind down. Check them out at MySpace.com//sicwaiting cuz our tour page is brokedid. Vegas was sick last week, thanks to all you who came out! We had a blast and we're trying to get back soon. Also, sorry again to you in NorCal (Dan-o the man-o), I swear we're trying to get up there, but our broke asses can only be gone for so long before the eviction notices start appearing. It's our main priority to get up there though, so sleep easy and dream of us naked.
HOB Anaheim! Get there, it's all ages dammit. It's at Downtown Disney, so you can pay $180 for Disneyland (or whatever it is these days) or $10 or free for our show! It's Simple Math! (get that surf video too- we're in it)
HOB San Diego! This is a Halloween show, so you know it will go off! There's a costume contest, and probably lots of french maids and fairies so what's missing? The rock you say? Oh it will be there, in ghoulish force. So don't you worry, just bring the clan and enjoy the drinks and the rock!
There's a couple more that we'll go through after lunch. Good work class, you all get a white stick for good behavior.

Website Updates, boobs, Shows, ASR
Hey people,
We've updated some sections of sicwaiting.com and since I know you've all been dying not knowing when the next update would be, I figured I'd tell you. Check out the Press, Media, and Links pages to see what's new. Some stuff for industry, some stuff for you. Everyone's happy!
It was cool to meet a bunch of new you's at the San Diego ASR show, and thanks to everyone who came to the Anarchy Booth for the acoustic performance. At the next ASR in January, we'll be doing a more extensive one with naked midgets and fire breathing unicorns.
And did you catch the SIC WAITING song "The Life You Save May be Your Own" in Jeff Simonson's new surf video "Simple Math?" If not, you must have been hitting that keg too damn hard cuz it played every day dammit!
That's it for now, Vegas look out and Central Coast and SF, hang on. We appreciate the patience but would rather have money so we can buy a van and some new equipment. See you all soon, until then go get the new Much the Same record from Nitro, it's sick.

Takin a romantic road trip for the purpose of rock...
The tours are always so short cuz we all have stupid ass jobs to pay our stupid ass bills, that it almost seems wrong to call them tours, and "mini tour" is retarded. So we're takin a road trip and playin some shows!
In addition to the local shows coming up, we'll be doing the Californai-a coast, and Vegas of course, in the first week of October. Find the show closest to you and attend! For example, if you lived in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, the closest show to you would be Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 6th. See you there, that simple.
